19 hand-verified platforms
Every platform below was tested by the developer against a real, paid course. Other login-based course sites often work too — through the built-in generic engine — but they are not verified, so try your course on the free plan first.
Social media
Save video posts and clips you can view — public videos, or your own with a browser login. Paste a whole Facebook Reels tab, a TikTok profile or an Instagram Reels tab and pull the videos in one go.

Compatibility is re-checked periodically and can change when a platform updates its systems. The app does not bypass DRM: DRM-protected video (MasterClass, Skillshare, some Udemy courses) is never supported.
What it will not do
Read this before you buy. The free plan lets you confirm your own course works first.
No DRM, ever
If a lesson is protected by studio DRM (Widevine / PlayReady / FairPlay) the app will not download it and does not try to work around it. MasterClass, Skillshare and some Udemy courses fall in this group.
Verified ≠ guaranteed
The 19 platforms above were tested against real courses, but platforms change their systems without notice. A build that worked last month can break. Check mayfairbook.com for updates, and test on the free plan first.
You bring the login
The app uses your own browser session (exported cookies) to reach content you already have access to. It creates no accounts and unlocks nothing you could not already open yourself.
Windows only
V1 runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). There is no macOS or Linux build yet.
Scheduled runs need the app open
The scheduler starts a download at the time you pick, but only while TD. Course Downloader is running. It does not wake the computer or launch itself.
LearnWorlds: hosted video only
On LearnWorlds schools, lessons that use YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia work. Video uploaded straight to LearnWorlds' own player is not supported yet.

TD. Course Downloader exists for a simple reason: when you pay for an online course, you should be able to keep it. Platforms shut down, subscriptions lapse, courses get pulled — and the lessons you already bought disappear with them.
The app takes a course you own, reads its full curriculum, and saves every video to your computer in the order you’d watch it — numbered files, one folder per section. It’s built like a proper download manager: pause and resume, a schedule, a download log, and a progress bar you can trust.
It’s a native Windows app. Everything it needs is bundled into the installer, so the first run works with no extra setup. Your course links, cookies and files stay on your machine — nothing is uploaded anywhere.
It does not break DRM or bypass payment. Use it with courses you have genuinely purchased or been given access to.

Questions
Is this legal?
It’s a general-purpose tool for personal use with content you already have the right to watch — courses you bought or enrolled in. It doesn’t crack paywalls or bypass DRM. Keep your downloads for your own offline study, follow the platform’s terms, and don’t redistribute them. Full rules are in the Acceptable Use Policy.
What about DRM-protected videos?
Not supported, by design. If a platform wraps its videos in studio DRM (Widevine/PlayReady), the app can’t and won’t download them. Most course platforms don’t — but some, like MasterClass and Skillshare, do.
Do I need to install anything else?
No. Everything the app needs ships inside the installer. No extra downloads, no separate tools, no configuration — the first run works offline.
How do the free plan and the licence work?
The free plan lets you start 7 videos every rolling 24 hours, forever — every feature included. When you hit the limit, the app tells you how long until a slot frees up. A one-time licence key removes the limit: you enter your name, the email you bought with, and the key; it’s verified against our server, then cached so the app keeps working offline. One key covers up to 3 computers, with a deactivate button to move it.
Which platforms need a cookies file?
Anything behind a login — most paid platforms. You export your browser cookies once (a free extension does this) and load the file in the app. Public videos (YouTube, Vimeo) usually need nothing.
Does it work on Mac or Linux?
This build is Windows only. Get in touch if you’d use a Mac version.
