This policy explains how payment works for a TD. Course Downloader licence and our position on refunds. It is part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service.
1. What you are buying
A licence is a one-time purchase of a digital licence key that activates the Software on up to three (3) computers, all used by the same person, as described in the Terms of Service. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
2. Price and payment
The price is shown at the point of purchase (currently USD 21 as a launch price; the standard price is USD 31). The amount you pay may also include taxes or payment-processor fees depending on your country and payment method. Payment is processed by Paddle.com (Paddle.com Market Ltd), our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, under its own terms and privacy policy; we do not receive or store your full card details. Paddle also handles order-related enquiries and processes refunds on our behalf under this policy. Your licence key is issued after payment is confirmed.
3. Try before you buy
Every copy of the Software includes a free plan that lets you start up to 7 videos every 24 hours, with every feature available, no account and no payment details required. This is your opportunity to confirm that the Software works on your computer and with the courses you intend to use, before you pay.
4. All sales are final
Because the free plan lets you fully evaluate the Software before purchase and the product is delivered digitally and immediately, all licence purchases are final and non-refundable once a licence key has been issued, except as set out in section 5 or where a refund is required by law that applies to you.
5. When we will still issue a refund
We will refund you if:
- you were charged more than once for the same licence, or charged in error — we refund the duplicate or erroneous amount;
- you never received a working licence key after a successful payment and we are unable to deliver one within a reasonable time;
- the Software has a defect that makes it substantially unable to perform its described core function, you reported it to us with enough detail to reproduce it, and we did not provide a fix or workaround within a reasonable time. This does not cover a specific course platform changing or blocking downloads, choices about video quality or format, or issues caused by your system, network or configuration.
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method. On a refund, the associated licence key is deactivated and may no longer be used.
6. How to request a billing review
Email [email protected] from the address used at purchase, within 14 days of the charge, with your order reference and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within a few business days.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a billing problem, please contact us first — we can almost always sort it out faster than your bank can. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in the associated licence key being revoked, and we may decline future sales to the account.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes or limits any mandatory right you have under consumer-protection law that applies to you. Where such law gives you a right to a refund that this policy does not, that law prevails to the extent it applies.
